Bridewell Gardens

Bridewell Gardens

Overview

Bridewell is a mental health recovery service. They provide social and therapeutic horticulture in a working garden to adults in Oxfordshire. Their goal is to help people into jobs or voluntary roles out in the wider community.

Bridewell runs a structured day with service users (gardeners) engaged in activities around the gardens. Other activities are offered periodically throughout the year such as cooking sessions, woodworking, blacksmithing or craft sessions.

Gardeners are supported by Social and Therapeutic Horticultural Practitioners and volunteers.
