Be Free Young Carers

Be Free Young Carers

Overview

Be Free YC provides advice, information and support for young carers aged 8 to 17 and young adult carers ages 18 to 25.

They help young carers by offering access to emotional support, mentoring and peer support, training, giving extra support at school if needed, and organising activity-based groups, social trips out and away breaks. The centre also specialises in helping face to face in carers’ own homes, with complex benefits claims, appeals and tribunals.
