Kennington Youth Club
Kennington Youth Club is self-funded youth club provides a range of activities, including pool, table tennis, Wii and computers, table football, darts, cooking, air hockey, and various board games. Kennington Youth Club also have a tuck shop serving a range of drinks, crisps, healthy snacks, fruit, 5 and 10p sweets and chocolate bars.
Most sessions are open access but we often get together at the end for any notices and a team game. Additionally some weeks they organise themed events and parties. Kennington Youth Club also talk about relevant issues such as knife crime, healthy eating, mental health, etc and also run a free book swap.
Kennington Youth Club is self-funded, and open to young people in school Years 5-10, running sessions term-time Wednesdays 7pm to 8.30pm for Years 5-9 and a monthly cafe for Years 8-10. The Youth Club is hoping to start opening more regularly for Years 8-10 in the next academic year.
Kennington Youth Club operate from their dedicated Youth Club building behind the Village Hall, opposite the health centre.
