Overview
The Anti-Slavery International non-governmental organisation, registered charity and lobby group is based in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1839, it is the world’s oldest international human rights organisation. It works exclusively against slavery and related abuses.
When/Where?
Anti-Slavery have projects in the UK and Europe, Africa and Asia, but their campaigning work covers the whole world. Together with local organisations they work to secure the freedom of those affected by slavery and press for effective implementation of laws against slavery.
