Anti-Slavery International

The Anti-Slavery International is a non-governmental organisation, registered charity and lobby group based in the UK. Founded in 1839, it is the world’s oldest international human rights organisation. It works to eliminate all forms of slavery, slavery like practices and related abuses, throughout the world.

Anti-Slavery have projects in the UK and Europe, Africa and Asia, but their campaigning work covers the whole world. Together with local organisations they work to secure the freedom of those affected by slavery and press for effective implementation of laws against slavery.

Their work in the UK includes victim protection and working with survivors, advocacy, and anti-trafficking monitoring groups.
