South Oxfordshire and Vale Wellbeing Hub (Abingdon)

Overview

Oxfordshire Mind has Wellbeing Hubs in Abingdon, Banbury, Oxford and Witney, which are part of the Oxfordshire Mind Wellbeing Service, split into three localities. Wellbeing Hubs provide peer support groups, a programme of short courses and workshops designed to promote wellbeing and many creative activities and groups. Some Peer support groups also take place in community settings such as cafés.

The Abingdon Hub is one of our Wellbeing Hubs, located in the Charter Complex in Broad Street, and offers Peer Support Groups and courses.

How to Access this Service

To access one of our Wellbeing hubs, you’ll need to have an Options session first. This involves either a phone call or face-to-face meeting with one of Mind’s Wellbeing Workers and an opportunity to have a chat about what services are available, to listen to you, and decide what to do next. To book an Options session call the Mind Information Line on 01865 247788 (Mon to Thurs 9.30-16.30 and Fri 9:30-16:00).

A Wellbeing Worker can then provide you with details and times of the Peer Support Groups and courses currently being offered at the Abingdon Hub.
