Veterans UK provides information on the services available to ex-service personnel across the UK. They can signpost to help with finances, healthcare, housing, pensions and compensation and other issues.

The UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity. SSAFA exist to relieve need, suffering and distress amongst the Armed Forces, veterans and their families in order to support their independence and dignity. SSAFA provides support and advice via welfare caseworkers. This is available to any current or former member of the Armed Forces. They can help clients with accessing employment, benefits, healthcare and housing.

 

Talking 2 Minds provides specialist psychological treatment for people affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other stress related conditions, including veterans. The treatment is provided free of charge.

South Central Veterans Service (SCVS) is a mental health service for ex service men and women, and reservists in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and The Isle of Wight. They provide comprehensive assessment and signposting to clients with mental health difficulties, and training and consultation for all services working with veterans.

The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust (RNBT) provides practical, financial and emotional support to all members of the RNBT family, from childhood right through to old age.

The RAF Benevolent Fund provides practical, financial and emotional support to all members of the RAF family, from childhood right through to old age.

The Royal British Legion supports current and former members of the Armed Forces and their dependents. They provide a range of advice and support including help with finances, employment, housing and activity breaks. Advice is also available via the national Legion line helpline.

The Reserves Mental Health Programme is run in partnership with the NHS. It is open to all current or former members of the UK Volunteer and Regular Reserves who have been demobilised since 1 January 2003 following operational deployment overseas as a reservist, and who believe that their deployment may have affected their mental health. If you meet these criteria you should speak to your GP about being referred to the programme. Concerned family and friends can access advice via the helpline.

PTSD Resolution provides help for veterans, reservists, and their families struggling to reintegrate into a normal work and family life because of combat related stress and trauma during service in the armed forces.

 

Togetherall is freely available through several different means. Veterans and their family members, as well as some service personnel, can access Togetherall for free through our partnership with NHS England. The service is also commissioned widely across the UK by the NHS, councils and health insurance providers. You may also be able to freely access Togetherall through your employer, university or college. There is currently no option for an individual paid subscription for Togetherall.
