Orchard Therapeutic Farm

Orchard Therapeutic is an award-winning alternative provision offering therapeutic programmes for primary, secondary, and post-16 learners across Oxfordshire. They support young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, including anxiety, ADHD, neurodivergence, and Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Their services include the Orchard Therapeutic Farm, Orchard Barn, Post-16 Programme, Activity Programme, and Outreach support.

Orchard Therapeutic Farm provides a safe, nature-based, nurturing environment where young people can rebuild trust, re-engage with learning, and develop strategies for emotional wellbeing. Referrals are made via schools and local authorities for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Every programme is tailored to the individual, promoting confidence, resilience, and meaningful personal outcomes in a calm, non-clinical setting.

Referrals are made through schools (Maintained, Non- maintained, SEN) and LA’s.

They are open 5 days a week Monday to Friday term time only for up to 15 hours a week.
At Orchard Therapeutic Farm, they firmly believe in providing every child with the opportunity to realise their full potential. The alternative provision focuses on four core aims and principles, ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive:

Primary, secondary and post 16 based in Oxfordshire. They are an approved alternative provider for various local authorities, Including Oxfordshire, West Berkshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey, along with Slough and Wokingham
